Three laps. Three rivals. Nitro on Shift.

Blocky Racing is a short 3D arcade racer. Line up on the grid, wait for the countdown, and race three AI cars around a low-poly circuit. Time your nitro, grab the coins, and try to finish first.

Built in Godot 4.7 with OMNI, the AI tool I'm developing that builds games inside the engine from a prompt. I described the game and directed every change, and OMNI built the scene in the Godot editor: the track, the cars, the race, and the HUD.

Playtime: about a minute per race

Controls: W or Up to accelerate, S or Down to brake and reverse, A/D or Left/Right to steer, Space for the handbrake, Shift for nitro, R to get back on the track, Esc to pause

Play it right here in your browser, or download the Windows version: extract the zip and run BlockyRacing.exe. Windows may warn you because the game isn't signed. Click More info, then Run anyway.

Credits: the trees, rocks, plants, ramp, and coins are from Kenney's Nature Kit and Platformer Kit (CC0, kenney.nl). Everything else was built by OMNI.

A good start, steering has a nice feel.
